Application Data
Atlee Crystal Clips are designed to provide secure mounting for flattened elliptical components under shock and vibration. Sizes are available to meet the needs of standard types of frequency-determining crystals, for which the clip is primarily designed. Attachment to the mounting surface is by means rivets, eyelets, or screws, the number being determined by the length of the clip.
Features
Simple attachment to mounting surface with rivets, eyelets, or screws.
Firm security for relatively heavy components against vibration and shock while allowing easy removal for replacement.
Holding power increases as shock and vibration increase, measured by force required to remove component.
Will withstand repeated insertion-withdrawals of a slug 1/32" larger than nominal diameter, without metal fatigue.
